We have all been around long enough to know there is only 2 parties that will win in a presidential election. I am here today to tell you that is a farce. The republican party, after things that I have seen and heard in the last week, have made it quite obvious that they are almost, if not exactly, the same as the democrat party. In the past I have seen major differences between the two parties. The stance on things such as well fare, social security, economics, and taxes, just to name a few. Today I have come to the realization that the current candidates for president, Rep. John McCain, Dem. Barack Hussein Obama, and Dem. Hillary Clinton are all pushing for the same thing, a bigger more intrusive government, more social programs and well fare, and a way to make "Illegal Aliens", thats right, I said it and I'll say it again, "Illegal Aliens" to be made legal and without any real consequence.
Note: I actually realized this some time ago, I just thought McCain would see the light if he got this far and come home to his base rather than distance himself further away from it.
All three of the candidates I mentioned above are bad for the country. The only way I can bring myself to the voting booth in November is to vote for a different candidate. I am actually considering "throwing away", as some people would say, my vote on a third party candidate because of this. The truth is I won't be throwing my vote away. I, along with a bunch of others , will be, at the bare minimum, making a statement against the current system and vote the way we should all vote, on principles, not party names.
The sad thing is McCain isn't the only Republican who is making me feel this way. Newt Gingrich hasn't helped the situation either. He did a commercial for the hoax "Global Warming" with Nancy Pelosi. Doesn't he realize what he has done? That completely undermines the conservative ideologies he is suppose to stand for. He actually thinks that people can effect the climate one way or the other. It's a hoax people!!! How can you say CO2 is a pollutant when it is necessary to sustain life on the planet? Get a grip!!!!!
Sorry for the rant. Back to what I was saying now.
I have found that a lot of the true conservatives are realizing that the republican party has lost it's way. I have found that some of them are making their move to the most well known "third" party, the Libertarian Party. I am not saying we conservatives should make the move or even vote for a Libertarian, I am just saying we should all take a good look at the candidates between the Dems and the Reps and also compare what they believe and stand for against what the Libertarians believe and stand for. I think you will be surprised.
